The DPA & GDPR May 2018

We and this website complies to the DPA (Data Protection Act 1998) and already complies to the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) which comes into affect from May 2018. We will update this policy accordingly after the completion of the UK's exit from the European Union.

Collection and use Of Personal Data including email addresses

We collect only the data that is necessary to carry out the purpose of contacting and arranging the appropriate healing sessions. We don't use mailshot or any other form of marketing. Data kept during a healing session is hard copy and is kept in accordance with the Reiki Federations (of which Riana is a member) Codes of Practice and in accordance with our Insurance company, they are both for a seven year period after the last appointment.

Disclosure of personal data

Healing Hands Sanctuary will endeavour to handle your data with the utmost of care and responsibility, and all data will be destroyed at the designated time after the last appointment. Email and contact details will be destroyed immediately upon request (see your rights under GDPR above).
